Honoring Their Service Button
The 2011-2012 American Legion Auxiliary National Membership team is excited to present the theme for the administrative year: Honoring Their Service. In support of this concept, the Membership team is creating custom buttons for Auxiliary members with a photo of a special veteran in their life. It can be any photo—a military photo, a candid current shot or a favorite image in any environment.

Strategic Planning
This look ahead three and five years out helps us set our priorities and establish action steps. We then communicate these to our key stakeholders (units, departments, board, and leadership teams) and monitor progress made in meeting our goals. Member Support Committees
Much of the planning that enables our members to more effectively serve veterans in their local communities is done through our national committees. These committees keep their focus on one specific area and share their collective expertise with units and departments so that members at the grassroots level do not have to reinvent the wheel.
